When our roots shifted south, walking away was never an option. So we built a trusted, DC-based team to keep doing what we love here. Shelsea, our founder, remains actively involved, lending her guidance and joining select weddings to ensure every couple receives the same standard of care that has defined Ray of Sunshine Weddings from the start.

Hi, I'm Alli — As a kid I used to ask for wedding magazines on my birthday and have never really kicked that wedding obsession. I've been helping couples with their wedding day since 2017, when I started in the industry as a wedding hashtag writer. Yes, that was my real job. From there I've pretty much done it all, I've designed for floral teams, sold bridal veils, and assisted some powerhouse wedding planners.
I'm so honored to help DMV couples plan their day with the same care, calm, and excitement my vendors gave me on my wedding day, making sure every little moment feels just right. My favorite parts of the day? A good ceremony cry, daddy-daughter dances, and late-night snacks that keep the reception going.
